The initial investment will be allocated towards securing essential software and licenses that will enable the team to create, test, and refine the game’s core mechanics. This will include game engines, development tools, and asset libraries, which are indispensable for building the game’s environment and characters. Additionally, acquiring assets such as music, sound effects, and artwork will also be purchased. These resources will facilitate the creation of a playable prototype, which will serve as a tangible proof of concept. This phase is all about turning vision into a tangible reality, ensuring that the game ‘Other Worlds’ begins its journey from concept to an engaging experience for players.

JAN 2025

Scale up the team to meet the demands of BETA development. Hire and focus on acquiring talent with specialized skills and new developers willing to train that align with the project’s goals. Identify the key areas where additional resources are needed, such as software development, quality assurance, or customer support.

JUN 2025

Release the game for Closed BETA testing. This will allow for a controlled group of users to provide feedback on gameplay, mechanics, and any potential issues that may not have been identified during internal testing. This phase can reveal critical bugs and areas for improvement that can be addressed before a full public release. If the current testing team is unable to handle the volume of feedback or the complexity of issues, we will hire additional staff with specialized skills. This will provide a fresh perspective and help accelerate the debugging process, ensuring a smoother and more polished game experience for the eventual end-users.

DEC 2025

Release the game for Open BETA testing. This will allow real users to interact with the game in a live environment, providing valuable feedback on gameplay, bugs, and user experience. This phase is essential for identifying any critical issues that may not have been evident during closed testing. Developers can then address these issues, ensuring a more stable and polished version for the final release.

JUN 2026

Ensure that all graphics, audio, and gameplay mechanics are polished and bug-free. Verify that all documentation is complete, such as help files, user manuals, and licensing agreements. Once all elements are finalized, the game will be compiled into its release build, which will be rigorously tested on all target platforms. After successful testing and quality assurance, the game will be published and shared with the world.
